What the customer wanted

A soft, warm carpet in a bedroom that had been left as bare floor with the old gripper still down.

What I fitted

New gripper, new underlay and a soft grey-beige carpet wall to wall.

Anything tricky

The old gripper had to come up first, and the door needed trimming so it closes cleanly over the new, thicker carpet.
